How it works
The commission process is straightforward, collaborative, and designed so you feel confident every step of the way.
1. Get in touch — Fill out the contact form and tell me about your idea: the subject, size you're imagining, any colours or mood that matter to you, and your timeline.
2. Let's talk — I'll reach out to discuss your vision, ask questions, and give you a detailed quote based on size, complexity, and timeline.
3. Sketch & approval — I'll create a pencil sketch or digital concept showing composition and subject placement. You review it, suggest any adjustments, and we finalize before I paint.
4. Paint & deliver — I paint the final work in my studio, then ship or hand-deliver it to you, ready to hang and cherish.
Pricing & timeline
Commission pricing depends on size, complexity, and how quickly you need it. Here's a general guide:
Small (up to 12×16)
Intimate portraits, small landscapes, simple subjects. 4–6 weeks.
Medium (up to 24×30)
Complex scenes, detailed figures, multiple subjects. 6–10 weeks.
Large (30×40+)
Ambitious pieces, intricate detail work, custom scale. 10–14 weeks.
